What is the best way to clean the Sola Garden Hose Tap?
Our stainless-steel range will wear the same as any normal stainless-steel product. We recommend cleaning weekly using natural or mild cleaning products or a stainless-steel-specific cleaning product. Please refrain from using any harsh or abrasive cleaning products, as they will impact the colour.
Is the Sola Collection lead-free?
This product is certified lead-free in accordance with the lead-free requirements in the National Construction Code Volume Three. Please note: Our Sola Tumbled Aged Brass fixtures are not lead-free.
Can the Sola Garden Hose Tap be retrofitted to my current outlet?
Yes, it can be retrofitted and is designed to be installed onto ½ inch BSP threads.
Does this product require a vacuum breaker or does it have a backflow device built in?
This product has a dual check value built in and does not require a vacuum breaker to be compliant.

Are your outdoor garden products suitable for coastal environments?
Most of the range is constructed from highly durable 316 stainless steel, which is suitable for coastal environments. The Tumbled Aged Brass finish, however, is crafted from solid brass — a durable material that naturally develops a patina over time. In coastal environments, this ageing process occurs more quickly, enhancing its raw, timeworn aesthetic.
