Product FAQs
Can this product be retrofitted to my existing door?
Because of the slim design of the backplate, retrofitting may be challenging due to the limited fixing locations, although not entirely impossible. We suggest consulting with a licensed tradesperson for advice tailored to your particular door.
Can this product be used on an internal door?
Yes, however, please note that installing it with a mortice lock will require extra time for installation, which may cost more in trade fees.
Can the Davis Entry Door Handle be installed double-sided?
Yes, the Davis Entry Door Handle can be installed double-sided as it is packaged with two door handles.
Is this product suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the Davis Entry Door Handle is constructed from 316 Stainless Steel — a premium external material for outdoor use.
Do I need a Euro Cylinder to install this product?
Yes, this product requires a Euro Cylinder to function. You can purchase the Euro Cylinder separately from ABI or use a euro cylinder of your own.
