Sometimes it can pay to be prepared for a party. Kitchen troughs offer the perfect solution to keeping your drinks chilled and conveniently accessible in your kitchen space.

Our Kitchen Troughs Range

ABI’s range of kitchen troughs replaces the traditional bucket for drinks, wine ice bucket or drinks tub with a stylish and streamlined design that is slotted straight into your kitchen’s benchtop.

This convenient alternative to ice buckets is available in a variety of sizes that hold 18.6, 27.9 and 37.2 litres. Depending on the specific size selected, our ice troughs can also accommodate two, three and four types of interchangeable accessories respectively.

Incorporating these various interchangeable inserts into your drink’s tubs will increase the functionality of your space. Part of our exciting Entertainer Series, these highly functional inserts include a bamboo knife rack, a colander insert, a 3-piece chopping board set and a draining tray. They are all sold separately and have been specifically designed to insert easily into your ice trough. All our inserts are available in our four stunning finishes to colour coordinate with your ice troughs.

Our ice troughs can be either under-mounted or top-mounted and come in four stylish finishes that include stainless steel, brushed brass, brushed copper and brushed gunmetal. They also have WaterSense acoustic cushions that help to dampen the sound of water impact and custom folded drainage channels that have been ergonomically designed to remove pooling water. For an easier cleaning experience, they also come with 10mm radius welded corners.

Does the kitchen trough have any properties to keep drinks cool?

While our kitchen troughs don’t have any specific cooling properties, their 304 stainless steel construction will help keep your drinks cool for longer.

Where should I place my kitchen trough in relation to my sink?

Your kitchen trough is designed to be either top or under-mounted into your kitchen benchtop. We recommend having it installed closer to your sink for easy accessibility.

Can these kitchen troughs be incorporated into a stone benchtop?

Yes, our kitchen troughs can be incorporated into a stone benchtop. However, it must be cut off-site by a stone mason.

Can I install thesekitchen troughs myself?

This product must be installed by a licensed tradesperson. A general installation guide for both top and under-mounting fittings can be located here. However, there are many factors that are involved that can alter the installation method.
